The peripheral neuropathy is down to tingling in the last joint of the right fingers and numbness in the last 1.5 of the left.

My vet had given me a bunch of gabapentin for bringing in Badger and told me it was expiring and replaced it so I tried the rest myself and it tangibly moderated that, to the point I wonder how much of even the very fingertip numbness was really physical damage all along.

My vet gave me gabapentin because I was flying with my cat, and when I said I’d only heard of it for human (ab)use they looked at me like I was crazy. Granted, I’d been confusing it with GHB, but glad to see KM justifying my intuition that anything you’d give to animals, a human has also tried

I mean it’s specifically indicated for peripheral neuropathy, but tbh I was wondering if it would chill me out like Badger

I was in on the ‘90s “entheogens”/nootropics vogue, reading each day’s set of trip reports on The Lycaeum and Erowid, which of one is the several ways I’m prepared to casually deal with altered consciousness

Also I tried like 1/10th the dosage by body volume suggested, in PiHKAL and TiHKAL Sasha Shulgin taught us to titrate

Also the one time I flew with a cat in a carrier a drunk seatmate insisted I take it out of the carrier to show her and then grabbed it and I was really worried it would get free
