At the San Diego airport they occasionally played a recording that wheeled gizmos were prohibited– bikes, scooters, hoverboards, wheely shoes. I was like “who the hell rides a scooter in the airport?”

Okay, San Diego has been very, astoundingly good to me in the last 24 hours, I know where I’m using these Alaska miles next.

Okay, weird callback, I was stumbling a bit (also my eyes get worse at steadicamming the more I walk, which they hadn’t for months, that was def. Omicron last week) and the girl boarding me suspiciously asked if I had been drinking then the gate agent who couldn’t help me yesterday came over to say she recognized me and I was just like that.

Well, the flight back to Portland boards at 8 and the San Diego airport seems easy. Gotta factor in time to hector Alaska into paying for my hotel (unfortunately, I don’t think they’d care that much I was spreading the tale of being done dirty on tumblr, and too much pride to make that my first original tweet) but I have the better part of a day to kill. What is there to do in San Diego? Museums? I hear the zoo is good.
Japanese-American Friendship Garden, pinball bar, and parking lot blowjob from a cute blasian girl, did anyone have that? Just me?
(Boarding is 8:40)

Shame everyone has electronics in their pocket now, this looks fun to prance in.
Weird biblical displays with a sign disclaiming responsibility on behalf of the city, while an organ plays a tune that sounds half-Catholic, half-circus

Less feature-dense but bigger and frankly better Japanese garden than Portland’s, tbh. Ton of people wearing masks outdoors, tho.
