Probably the single thing I would want to direct attention to is Club Med in the ‘70s-'80s, that coming out from colonialism the states of the Caribbean realized tourism was their source of foreign exchange and all the American boomers realized sex was the thing so you had these like, singles resorts where you’d be encouraged to hook up with each other, like they had facilitation staff that would take you on the beach first night and get you drunk on margaritas and have competitions where the men hold the women up at the right angle to see how far they can project their piss across the sand
