Dude, who even knows.
Okay, mastered 「hose clamp straps」 and got my flagpole set up. Kinda cool application of simple machines to hold things in place with tension, reminds me of building a bike at that “Bike Kitchen” in LA.

Dude, vidya doesn’t lie, swinging one of these overhead is so much more effective at digging diagonally forward and down than a shovel.

Alright, last few days as the anxiety disappeared actually very productive in terms of small projects; I could do things “right in front of me” and the next one from there in a way that actually admitted a good deal of mental work in conceiving of a possible next project, so if there was like anything I had put any thought to in the area…
So the bedroom and sitting part of the front room are much more pleasantly cleaned, the garage is now lined up for final go-through, the kitchen is like one activity station away from being tidied, I’m back to excavating the ramp from upper to lower backyard so I don’t have to clamber or walk barrows around, Im in the process of pipe-strapping a flagpole mount outside my front door and swapping in a new fan switch unit with a replacement pull-chain, some other stuff too.

So today I set up and put finishing touches on my little backyard gym – I think carrying all those plates around (twice! I relocated it to flatter ground) triggered my postexertional effect by itself, but I could swear there was one more thing I did…
oh! In the course of things I got halfway through tidying up the garage.

Man the lavender’s still scrawny and digging in its roots and already I like the way it’s scenting my sitting area by the window

Yeah I think the rest of the year I’ll commission some self-contained contracting work – leveling the lower backyard, the fence, possibly the garage door – do the things remaining re: the landscaping yard (filling in Blueberry Hill & Strawberry Ridge, maybe replacing the walkway to the front door and backyard with smooth pebbles now that Darwin in the driveway blocks the sun and turns the grass there now to muddy morass).
Chase down the last few % of putting every room in order and have them cleaned, get my corded screwdriver and stud-finder and stuff to put up these cool corner-thru shelves in the garage and the clamps for my Russian bedroom wall rug
Then sit down and really plan out to get the house reno done next year – also plan to get back in the medical system when my insurance rolls over next year.

I honestly suspect I’ve been so busy rendering the yard a nice place to hang out Badger’s been pissy I’m not hanging out with him in it these last few warm, sunlight nights

Rearranging the kitchen so the fridge-prep-oven sequence flows whether “oven” is the stove, microwave, or toaster oven while maximizing use of all counters and outlets, have kinda mastered this kitchen just in time to contribute real insight to its remodeling

Having this particular chair to sit in proving a really big year-over-year improvement this spring.
