You ever think about how World of Warcraft repair fees and auction listing costs – set not because mods needed the gold but to counterbalance their distribution of new value and prevent inflation, with a side effect of encouraging authority-approved means of generating resources at the expense of ones deemed abusive and antisocial but otherwise viable – were taxes?
