One thing that's important for everyone who wants to Make Number Go Up to know is that getting famous on tumblr is a very bad way to do it. I'm not like, tumblr famous, but based on the polls that float around, I'm around 97th percentile in follower count - my blog is around ten years old and I've been making original posts consistently for close to 4 years now

Within 3 months of joining TikTok, one of my good friends had well over 3 times my current tumblr follower count from a single viral TikTok. And it wasn't even, like, viral viral!

I'm on here because the way people go viral and build followings on sites like TikTok and twitter scares me. I like gaining followers and getting notes but I also like being in my tiny corner of the internet and not being exposed to The Horrors. If you're mad about not getting enough reblogs, go post on twitter!
