In what is the most stereotypical Vibecamp thing ever, one of the very first people I chatted up turned out to be a psychedelic therapy researcher, and one of the various bits of info he conveyed to me was that LSD is not considered at all useful for psychedelic therapy, because “it doesn’t take”, i.e. the effects are not permanent enough to be therapeutically useful. He said that this has been fairly solidly confirmed by VA researchers, who do not fuck around with hippie bullshit and actually approach this subject with a high degree of rigor, so I found it hilarious that the stereotype of “guy who has a lifechanging explosion of loving kindness on high doses of LSD, and then immediately goes back to getting pissed at people in traffic and voting straight-ticket Republican” has now been Confirmed by Science.
