So the American ATF finally made moves to rein in “pistol braces” that rendered effectively short-barreled shoulderable carbine rifles legal and freely accessible, but the situation where effectively sawn-off shotguns are legal if originally manufactured as non-shouldered and thus not regulatorily shotgun “firearms” still stands, and you’ve got more serious industry players moving into the space there.
