There’s something so BITTERLY IRONIC about Kurt Vonnegut’s anecdote in slaughterhouse 5 about how his friend hears he’s writing an anti war book, and his friend says well you might as well write an anti glacier book, equating stopping war with stopping glaciers. It’s 2022 and we have plenty of wars but glaciers? Ahhh.
