Getting Badger to come in and out through the basement window is huge in keeping Karafuto comfortable in this cold, and I also like that if we’re both up here when he decides to go out he’ll just meow at me to open the front door again

  5. kontextmaschine said: @fatsexybitch it’s not that humid here. Amusingly I’m across the street from a local depression that counts as a flood sink and with our weird Columbia Gorge-mediated weather cycle it’s strangely humid from 20:00 to 01:00. But yeah, the idea is each unit will have 4 leads
  6. fatsexybitch said: Also I’ve always loved transoms + heat pump + attic fan in places where it’s dry enough to warrant, but aren’t you in Portland? Didn’t know you could mini-split a heat pump but that sounds awesome
  7. fatsexybitch said: Bionic CAT plz
  8. kontextmaschine said: @fatsexybitch might be a nose-through thing, or triggered off a collar or microchip implant
  9. fatsexybitch said: Ok but how will badger operate an airlock? He doesn’t have thumbs :/
  10. kontextmaschine said: @fatsexybitch and overhead fans and maybe *transoms* for circulation
  11. kontextmaschine said: @fatsexybitch which will lead to me putting an airlocked cat door off one of the study windows
  12. kontextmaschine said: @fatsexybitch no, I think I’m going to get two heating pumps and give each room (incl. the basement as it’s own 2-room unit) per-room controls
  13. fatsexybitch said: Did you get the infloor heating setup?
