Have been getting the sense we’re in the “1980s” part of the cycle, and the most useful thing after I renovate Karafuto might be to just bug out and find something obscure that will be the next thing to work on and I’m like “okay what would that have been in the 1980s”
And I realize it was like, “move to Tokyo” but like, that won’t happen in Japan again and where it will I’m probably not suited for
“Move to Texas and do MDMA in gay bars”? Eh
“Move to Manhattan and buy a brownstone while it’s cheap”? Pf
