The Cornell medical school in Qatar released a study showing that immunity from COVID infections is cumulatively building – like the other coronaviruses that have been part of the human ecosystem all along, which would also fuck us up as naive adults but we catch every few months from birth – much more intuitive than an earlier study suggesting cumulative vulnerability, and a reminder that when I was an undergrad Cornell established a medical school in fucking Qatar (the normal one is in NYC)
