yeah, ppl have just tried to flip grooming from 'intentionally and consistently acclimating someone for abuse' to 'there was an instance of sex or something taboo in something i read or watched or heard and therefore that person who made that thing was trying to force me to do that thing'.
for instance, a really weird thing i've seen begun to happen is that ppl in fandom spaces will accuse others of grooming minors bc they wrote a fic that featured something taboo like noncon or something and a minor complained about seeing it.
i don't get it past ppl wanting to be on a moral high or something.
I think it’s weird bc like, it doesn’t even line up with other uses of the word “grooming” in benign contexts like “they’re being groomed for success in business” means some kind of benevolent mentoring not “they read something”
It can’t be stressed enough how absolutely bizarre and diseased it is that we now have minors who complain that they’ve been exposed to mature content.

The very concept of a teenager who comes across adult media and complains and tries to get someone in trouble for it, is absolutely revolting to me.
