The recliner with swivel base and ottoman pictured in your post is a Stressless by Ekornes. They don't have a special name for the base from which two curved supports rise.

Yeah I found that looking into it, that picture is actually from a knock-off I guess from Amazon, but I swear I’ve seen ones in stores in styles Ekornes doesn’t offer with that kinda base, I thought it might be a thing
