This one has been one of the weirder to see. It's like "man you met in late middle age in 1999 and never really knew from anywhere else dies 23 years later", and it seems to be meaning things to people I wouldn't expect from that.
Honestly I suspect for a lot of people it’s the first time that an adult they first encountered when they were themselves adults died of old age
