so i checked the twitter op’s bio and she’s a comedian, and i’ve noticed a lot of shit-tier pseudofeminist takes coming from female comedians, and there’s a whole bunch of male comedians whose routines still lean on misogyny and boys will be boys shticks.

small sample size but why does becoming a professional comedian make you a gender essentialist? who is the audience for this
