Yeah it’s weird that simultaneously with people being “O! Woe! A wave of reactionary social repression!” we’re just quietly normalizing polygamy. Like, we chased the Mormons into the desert with an army over this once! Now it’s not even getting the attention “open marriage” did in the 70s.
Polygamy will, of course, be the ultimate synthesis of attempts to counter the thesis of promiscuity with the antithesis of monogamy
