Your post on “straight men don’t know how to dress sexily” doesn’t make sense from a historical standpoint: fashion used be just as important for men as for women, and this is still true in a lot of places outside the USA. You are assuming America is the World, and your ideas on American sexual culture seem to be mostly informed by porn and prostitutes (maybe also celebrities and clergy who can’t control their genitals)
I mean, straight people can register “that person of my gender looks powerful/distinguished/elegant” just fine, and court nobles weren’t trying to come off as fuckable
