::suddenly struck by the realization that everything I experienced of my family would make a lot more sense if my parents were not both attracted to each other’s genders::
Like, they haven’t slept in the same room for decades, and back then it wasn’t really at the same times
I mean I suppose this is a really tumblr-ass genderization of them not being attracted to each other, which can maybe instead be attributed to their from-another-timeness (my father was a Catholic boy born in the 1930s)
