asked: dont you think things might progress even faster with the advice and counsel of a professional. do you like also do all your own taxes, cut your own hair and handle your own dentistry. if you got sued would you represent yourself.

I absolutely do cut my own hair, since I was 10 and I got a series of haircuts that weren’t at all what I envisioned. Now, I wasn’t any good at it until my 20s when I figured out layering.
Also, in terms of motivating me to and through exercises, they’d very unlikely be better than the sense of my sensei I internalized in the ‘10s, and have nowhere near my complexity of understanding of my baseline and typical response to calibrate from.
