what did you mean by Chinese Supplier Disease/optimization for practiced standards? Google doesn't return any relevant results and I'm not familiar enough with the subject in question.
In the last decade a lot of people sourcing components/packaging/etc. from Chinese manufacturers have found a supplier contract they’re satisfied with only to find, as the contract continues at agreed payment rates, themselves getting gradually lower-and-lower quality versions of their goods, more cheaply manufactured from less lower-quality material, until it’s finally worth doing something about
