Wait, Sinfest is conservative now?

zarohk

Huh? What? How?

I can’t as yet give a thorough accounting of it, as I stopped reading it on the regular around the time it went radfem in the early 20teens, but it appears that some of the major antagonists these days are PC/SJ-themed care bears, and it’s presently doing a positive portrayal of the Qanon shaman.

I’m increasingly thinking this comic is just five separate and politically diverse Dave Sim breakdowns in a trench coat.

I can’t put my feelings into words.

Sinfest ideological bingo cards…

If people are curious about sinfest’s implosion someone just did a pretty good writeup of the whole deal on reddit

I remember Sinfest being kinda radfem in like 2007, but also making raunchy porn jokes. Also I never read most of it.

Yeah I have differences with David Willis, but with his “pulling the drama tag” in-jokes and periodic rebooting of his cast dynamics in different settings he clearly has a sense of how a daily webcomic progresses and how to, basically, not find yourself in this position.

Remember on Sluggy Freelance where they just changed the alien’s character design every so often?
