Yeah no I absolutely need to get a switchable eyepatch.

Both my eyes see fine (well like 200/20 uncorrected) but their pictures are canted like 8° relative to each other

As a kid I could correct for this at all distances further than the point of my nose but in the last 3 years the minimum distance moved past my normal reading posture through maximum arm’s length and is now like half a block

My left eye is dominant but if I only use it for a week the next time I open my right eye it takes longer to focus and is darkened out further in from the edges until I exercise it for like 15 min, I think I should alternate

Also it’s entirely thinkable that I’ve never had true binocular vision and I’ve been faking it with parallax and head tilting all along

It’s like realizing before the personality change I might have never actually had empathy, just very sophisticated mental models for inferring interior state from observation

    The other side of this is I've started to learn to focus each eye independently, I've heard if you train that up enough...
