I can see a pragmatic or humanitarian case for releasing the US AstraZeneca stocks, which will not be approved for use before the population is immunized with other formulations, especially towards a third world with little capacity even due

I cannot possibly imagine an administration that would publicly donate lifesaving treatments to the third world before it has enough available for its own public, even in the foreknowledge those particular ones will be surplus, that kind of shit could start a civil war rn
