Been feeling a little out of it this week, not really fugueing but a bit removed. Part of it is what doesn’t feel like catastrophizing but dispassioned analysis of external stimulus, that the plague year will neatly cleave us off from the Long 90s, even the post-2008 effort to keep things going and interpret any changes as within that framework.
And I liked the Long 90s, that was my thing, even if I knew other times I at some level understood them as antecedents or consequences of that.
I also think maybe my disinhibition is up a bit; if things are going to come and go independently I really need to learn some symptoms of that cuz it can definitely sneak up on you unnoticed until you’re being ridiculous.
