Friendly reminder that even though I am ancestrally Irish and grew up listening to my dad’s Wolfe Tones albums I totally favor the British/English in that relationship; dedicating Ireland to food production and freeing up Great Britain for wool surplus was the first step to dominating the globe, the island’s Catholic heritage had once been an advantage but had long turned into a parasitic draining for its own sake, only now it’s finding its place as a post-Christian tax-advantaged Anglophone country which had been the point all along, etc., etc.
