Flush with calories in contrast to WWI and mindful of its propaganda demonization in that war, Nazi Germany put a reasonable effort into maintaining adequate POW camps for at least captured Western Allies, and it feels weird to think about Nazi PR but if you consider Hogan’s Heroes, it kinda worked
