Oh to answer some questions the reason pancreatic cancer is so immediately deadly is specifically cause the pancreas DOESN’T do much on its own so if its performance degrades you don’t notice, but the pancreas is so tied into the lymphatic system

which like, if the circulatory system is the water mains the lymphatic system is the drainage/sewer system, that branches thru the body*

* one branch drains the head and right arm, the other one covers the rest

but unlike the circulatory system it’s NOT patrolled for cancer by white blood cells

so by the time you even notice you have cancer of the pancreas you have impendingly fatal cancer of the everywhere

That’s why breast cancer was such a thing even if it’s so non-vital that the standard treatment is amputation – it’s very easy to climb the milk ducts back to the armpit lymph nodes and spread from there
