At Cornell I took a class on the history of American female adolescence with Joan “The Body Project” Brumberg. Ultimately she was more of a popular author than a scholar-educator, but she did at the time tease that her next book was gonna be “So What *Is* the Deal With Adolescent Girls and Horses, Anyway”
