I mean as a cis dude who identified as a girl for quite a while growing up, like explicitly claimed it as such not just like “haha Steel Beach was fun and I like playing as female avatars in RPGs”, even on the downslope like haha I’ve got this “running joke” about how im actually a lesbian because the 3ft radius around me was some floating isle of Lesbos; I get that, totally

and even when I was past that I totally understood it from the inside, which is probably why I fit so well in moneycat’s orbit and later the SF “rationalists”

still, this whole site absolutely vibes to me as a candy house in the middle of a forest clearing with faint carousel music playing somewhere in the distance
