That seems like it's more your speed, and from where I'm sitting American masculinity is basically up for grabs right now and it's gonna be fucking ridiculous if Gavin McInnes gets it. With that angle you get sort of a papal distance; in theory you might have to do a speaking tour or something but most of your planned appearances get firebombed anyway so you don't have to do them.
