currently in favor of a year of compulsory military training after high school that prepares you as a trainable reserve and also gives a cross-class/race/oth. identity bonding experience that’s defined by a willingness to accept and inflict death

plus just as SOCOM grows enough to devour everything you could fold it back into into a prestiged Canadian-style active/training backbone, only poised to train Americans
