This song is about a girl I knew from the mid-late-00s electro/“blog house” scene in LA, the only person I’ve guessed ethnicity on off behavior (vs. appearance), she was drunk in my car once like “why are boys so jealous, oh my god, just let me breathe… but if he fucks with another girl I’ll cut his balls off and kill her” and I was like “look that’s rid— wait, are you Puerto Rican?”
