ad trackers have recently started thinking I’m some kind of executive and serving me ads for like, accessory ground-mapping radar to enable my private aircraft to make high altitude landings in low visibility “never miss your ski outing again!” and expert testimony consultancies in incredibly specific fields, the last one was like “drug withdrawal in incarcerated inmates”

Accessory ground mapping radar?!

I was like “yeah, that does seem advanced even for high-end consumer these days and the ad only showed the screen and not any external mounting pod”, so maybe it runs off an uplink to sattelites rather than an onboard radar?

But so I went looking to find it and the real punchline of this joke is that I realize it wasn’t an ad tracker, just the opposite, it’s that The Atlantic is running a new in-house ad platform
