They are very… not interested in us per say, but they make eye contact and watch. This time of year especially. But I wonder if there is something inbuilt that makes cows interested in music, or if it’s a byproduct of domestication or something learned. I might try that tomorrow if the herd hasn’t left the area yet!

curious-kat said: @wild-west-wind idk if bison would like it because they aren’t domesticated. having worked with different livestock, cows are smarter and more interested in people than, say, sheep, and they’ll come over and watch you if you do anything new. sheep don’t notice and the goats could care less. so if bison aren’t interested in people i don’t think they’d react to music, but i could be wrong!
